At the moment of the first blast, Bilal Hadfi, the young Turkish member of the airport attack team, was still on the phone with Abaaoud, the plot ringleader, who was impatiently maneuvering his Seat rental car through the traffic on Rue Bichat so that he could reach the cafe district. Inside the car were his childhood friends Brahim Abdeslam and Chakib Akrouh. The elder Abdeslam brother had traveled from Turkey to Brussels, where they attacked.
